3.3 Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are defined as unreasonable loud noise, which can be heard either two doors away or more than twenty-five (25) feet from the resident’s door.

Quiet hours are in effect from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, quiet hours are in effect from 11 p.m. to 10 a.m.

Twenty-four-hour quiet hours will begin Friday evening at 9 p.m. of the last week of classes preceding the final exam week, and during intersession periods.

Twenty-four-hour quiet hours are established and cannot be altered by residents. All attempts will be made to make building repairs at a reasonable hour. However, emergency work or repairs inside or outside residential facilities may need to be completed during quiet hours.
