3.14 Sports Prohibited in the Halls

The playing of sports or activities that present a risk of injury to persons or property within and around a residential facility are not allowed.

Outdoor activities are not allowed in the halls. This includes, but is not limited to, bouncing balls, throwing Frisbees and balls, using toy guns or soft foam products (i.e. Nerf products), rollerblading, skateboarding, hover boarding, wrestling and bicycling.

For this reason, basketball goals may not be installed or used within the halls.

No outside water activities are allowed in the halls. This includes, but is not limited to, swimming/wading pools, water guns, water balloons, water slides, etc. In addition, these activities are not allowed on porches as such activities may result in damage to property and constitute vandalism.

If you participate in any of these activities and damage occurs, you will be charged for repairs. If you have questions, contact your hall’s coordinator for residence education.
