Below you will find a list of dates important to the housing contract process and opening and closing dates for the residence halls.
Housing Contract Dates

| End of Spring Semester | Students must check out no later than 24 hours after their last exam. |

| Thursday, October 16, 2025 | Phase 1 — Online Contract Housing contract opens. New first-year students only You must be admitted to the university before contracting. |
| Tuesday, October 28, 2025 | Returning and Transfer Student Housing Application Opens — 10 a.m. |
| Tuesday, November 4, 2025 | Spring Housing Contract Opens — 10 a.m. (Spring 2026 only) |
| Tuesday, November 11, 2025 | Phase 2 — Profiles and Meal Plan Set-up Includes Living Learning Community application and profile set-up for roommate matching — 10 a.m. This phase is not as time sensitive as other phases of the contracting process. |

| Tuesday, February 3, 2026 | Phase 3 — Roommate Selection Roommate Selection Opens — 10 a.m. This phase is not as time sensitive as other phases of the contracting process. |
| February 16—20, 2026 | Phase 4 — Room Selection (For Returning Students) Select Your Room on Campus |
| Sunday, March 1, 2026 | You will receive a $200 refund if your contract is canceled by noon. To cancel, email housing@uark.edu from your uark.edu email and include your name and student number. |
| Sunday, March 15, 2026 | You will receive a $100 refund if your contract is canceled by noon. To cancel, email housing@uark.edu from your uark.edu email and include your name and student number. |

Honors Room Selection Honors housing priority is reserved for admitted honors students who applied to the Honors College by December 15 of their senior year. |

| July 9–16, 2026 | Early Drop-Off Time Selection for Arkansans Open |
| Thursday, July 30, 2026 | Early Drop-off for Arkansas Students - Reid Only* Arkansas Reid residents may choose either July 30 or July 31 for early drop-off, selecting the best date that is available to them. |
| Friday, July 31, 2026 | Early Drop-off for Arkansas Students Early Drop-off is not available for Holcombe Hall, Hotz Hall, off-campus apartments and Duncan Avenue Apartments. Other communities might also not be available due to summer projects. |
