4.10 Use of Sharp Containers
Each hall or apartment office will keep a supply of “sharps” and medical waste containers equal to the number of residents living in their hall/ office who requested them.
Each resident using this service should log into the Environmental Health and Safety website and review the University’s Medical Waste Disposal guidelines and expectations.
When a full/used, container is returned to the front desk for an empty one, a container will be given to the resident at once. The exchange of containers is only available during business hours.
