Students living in University Housing residence halls and apartments use ResNet to get online from their rooms. ResNet stands for "Residential Network." It is a collaborative partnership between University Housing and Information Technology Services (ITS) to provide local network and Internet services to residents living on campus. University Housing provides the front-line support and is the liaison between the student and ITS to solve technical problems with network connectivity.
Analysis of recent campus-wide network outages has uncovered that some students are incorrectly connecting their personal routers.

To get you online as quickly as possible, we now have Self Help instructions. Jump down to the Adding a device to ResNet section to get your device connected to our network, or visit the Troubleshooting section when you continue to have problems.
Sometimes, even once you have connected your device, you encounter issues. Try using these tips to help yourself when you run into trouble.
To get started, click on the device you want to connect to ResNet in the table below. If you are still unable to get connected, the Self Help instructions will tell you how to get in touch with us to set up problem ticket and get a technician to assist you.
