ResNet - Your On-Campus Network

What Is ResNet?

Students living in University Housing residence halls and apartments use ResNet to get online from their rooms. ResNet stands for "Residential Network." It is a collaborative partnership between University Housing and Information Technology Services (IT Services) to provide local network and Internet services to residents living on campus. University Housing provides the front-line support and is the liaison between the student and IT Services to solve technical problems with network connectivity.

ResNet Support Hours of Operation

  • Phone Assistance: M-F 10 AM to 7 PM
  • Appointment Hours: M-F 10 AM to 6:30 PM
  • Walk-In: M-F 10 AM to 5 PM

To get started, click on the device you want to connect to ResNet in the table below. If you are still unable to get connected, the Self Help instructions will tell you how to get in touch with us to set up problem ticket and get a technician to assist you.

Support Levels

  1. Preferred Support
    • The assistance to connect to the university network, not restricted by corruption of the operating system, outdated firmware, hardware failure, language limitations, or need for additional software or hardware, will be assigned a technician to assist if requested.
  2. Limited Support
    • Published information will be provided for self-help. Will be assigned a technician to assist if requested at a lower priority than Preferred Support. Solutions are not guaranteed.
  3. Not Supported
    • Equipment is either prohibited or not compatible with our network.
