  • Make sure that your mail is delivered to the mailing address and not the physical address of the hall.
  • Incorrectly addressed mail is not the responsibility of University Housing
  • Mail is delivered directly to the hall by all delivery companies Monday through Friday
  • Mail from the United States Postal Service is put into a locked postal relay box on the weekends and Housing staff collect it each Monday
  • All packages must be recorded into our system before the student receives their package
  • Our system sends a standard email to the student when their package has been processed letting them know that they can pick up their package
  • You must show a photo ID (student ID or drivers license) to claim your package
  • Packages can only be given to the person to whom they are addressed
  • The signature of the student is required when they pick up their package unless it its put in a package box

Package Processing

  • We do over 40,000 packages per semester. This is completed by ten staff members in 16 weeks.
  • We cannot hold packages due to space constraints
  • Packages cannot be sent to the residence hall unless the student is physically checked into their room. Again, our mail rooms are not big enough to hold mail.
  • We stop accepting packages Wednesday of spring finals
  • Packages may be forwarded for 30 days after the last day of finals
    • FedEx and UPS do not forward
  • After 30 days, all packages will be returned to sender
  • It is the responsibility of the student to change their mailing addresses with companies such as Amazon

Alternative Package Delivery

  • Mailboxes can be rented at the Union Mail Center and the Dickson Street Post Office
  • If you send your package through UPS, you can download the app and redirect your package to the UPS lockers under the Arkansas Union Tunnel
