Maple Hill Hall
Resident Directors' Welcome Letter
Welcome to Maple Hill! Maple Hill is an innovative community at the University of Arkansas that opened in Fall 2007. The hall features a comprehensive residential curriculum program aimed at promoting academic success and citizenship. The hall is located on the north end of campus beside Reid Hall.
In Maple Hill East and West, we house approximately 725 freshmen and sophomores. We also house 15 Academic Success Resident Assistants, eight Citizenship Resident Assistants, and two professional Resident Directors. We provide a wide variety of room choices to our residents which include standard double rooms, four-person two-bedroom suites, three-person supersuites, and four-person two-bedroom lofts. All of our supersuites and lofts have new leather furniture. Each room has cable and Ethernet connections and the entire facility features wireless internet access. Maple Hill has 15 soft-seating study rooms, 15 conference rooms, 15 laundry rooms, 8 kitchenette/lounge areas which include 40-inch flat screen televisions, a luxurious parlor, a sun room, three multi-purpose classrooms with the newest multimedia equipment, and various other smaller study rooms. Maple Hill is also the only residence hall on campus to feature an enclosed courtyard with a multi-purpose stage and sound equipment.
We hope that you will choose to live in Maple Hill during your first two years at the University of Arkansas. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Kristina Bethea & Michael Seals
