Duncan Avenue Apartments
Graduate Resident Director Welcome Letter
Hello and Welcome to Duncan Apartments. University Housing is very committed to making sure that each residence hall at the University of Arkansas offers something unique and original to meet the needs of individual students. Duncan Apartments is no exception. It has the most recent wall breaking which occurred in Fall 2008 and is the first "Green Globes" construction project on the University of Arkansas campus making it energy efficient while providing an environmentally friendly design. Aside to its modern design, its surroundings are a sure match; starting with the well lit walking trail, and a huge iron grill located in its beautiful pavilion area available for all residents. In addition, Duncan Ave. is located off Dickson Street providing a straight shot to Brough Commons Cafe for lunch; however the apartment itself has a full kitchen to satisfy those abrupt hunger attacks. After all this eating, do not worry Duncan has a 24 hour fully-equipped workout room with the newest technological equipment for the use of all residents. Each unit consists of 4-bedroom (Each student has a separate contract. This allows each resident the responsibility of their rent) a laundry room (washer and dryer), kitchen, living room, and one or two bathrooms depending on your given assignment (not by request).
In addition, each apartment’s living is furnished with a couch, coffee table, and side table. The kitchen comes with a microwave, stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher. While each of the apartment rooms includes one bed, desk, dresser, and night stand.
