Greetings from Residence Education at the University of Arkansas!
On behalf of just over 180 full-time, graduate, and student staff members I welcome you to our homepage. The Residence Education Unit of University Housing is comprised of several dynamic living and learning communities in support of 4,500 students in 12 residence halls.
Our primary goals in Residence Education are:
- to have engaged and educated residents
- to have an engaged, competent, and knowledgeable staff
A number of key individuals and programs work together to help fulfill these goals. They include the following areas: Faculty Involvement and Learning Communities , Diversity Education, Leadership Development, Recruitment Training and Development, Student Rights and Responsibilities, and Counselors-in-Residence, plus a number of centralized functions in support of the overall operation.
As a unit we are proud of our many activities and programs designed to enhance the academic achievement of our students in thriving, diverse communities.
